We are, the Oceanview Room, Point Loma, Wedding Lighting pro’s and have been providing lighting for the Oceanview Room at Ballast Point since 2010. We are fully vetted with base security and know all the rules and regulations that come with a venue that is located on base.
The wedding that I’m blogging about was one of my favorites at the Oceanview Room at Ballast Point. We really enjoyed providing the market lights, paper lanterns and uplights for this beautiful wedding. The lighting design and overall design of the reception was stunning. This wedding was submitted and published. We loved transforming the outdoor deck with our lighting. The bride was from India, and there where so many special details from the Indian culture. The dresses that some of the guests wore were so bright and colorful, adding to the beauty of the event.
The wedding colors were gold and white. We were able to find gold colored paper lanterns. Their color went beautifully with the soft white light that our market lights put out. The market lights were hung over the guest seating area and dance area. They provided a canopy of candlelight specs adding to the romance and warmth of the wedding reception. During the reception traditional Indian dancers put on a show that was upbeat and breathtaking. This was definitely one for the books.
